3.1 The Platform uses only functional cookies for security, session management, and preference settings, and the Platform does not use cookies for analytics, performance tracking, or advertising at this time.

3.2 Session cookie: JSESSIONID.

JSESSIONID maintains authenticated server session state for the Platform, and JSESSIONID is a browser session cookie that is deleted when the browser session ends, and the related server session expires automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.

3.3 Authentication convenience cookie: rememberMe.

rememberMe supports the remember me feature used by the authentication system so a returning user can remain signed in or sign in more easily, and rememberMe remains on the device for 30 days unless deleted earlier.

3.4 Preference cookie: nav-style.

nav-style stores the navigation menu style selected on the Platform interface so the interface can remain consistent for a returning user, and nav-style remains on the device for 1 day unless deleted earlier.

3.5 Most Platform API authentication uses JSON Web Token rather than cookie based authentication, and cookies used by the Platform are limited to security, session, and preference functions.

4. Cookies Not Used

4.1 The Platform does not use cookies for analytics, performance measurement, behavioral tracking, or advertising targeting at this time.

4.2 The Platform does not intentionally use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track user activity across third party websites at this time.

5. Your Choices and Cookie Controls

5.1 You can control cookies through browser settings, including blocking cookies, deleting cookies, and setting preferences for cookie storage.

5.2 In the event that you block or delete cookies used for security, authentication convenience, or preferences, some Platform features can stop working correctly, and you can be required to sign in again or reselect interface preferences.

5.3 In the event that you delete cookies, changes take effect after deletion and after you refresh the browser or restart the browser, depending on browser behavior.
