Rule 8: Tutors may only contact your child through approved channels

Tutors must communicate with minor students only through Tutriva channels or through channels a parent has approved. Rule 3: Tutors must report safety concerns, not just avoid causing them

The Code does more than prohibit misconduct. It requires tutors to promptly report suspected abuse, exploitation, or misconduct involving a student to Tutriva, and it states that this does not replace any legal duty to report to police or child protection authorities. Every tutor on the platform has agreed to act as a reporter, not a bystander.

Rule 6: Tutors may not do your child’s work

Academic integrity is written directly into the Code. Tutors must not complete exams, assignments, or admission materials for students. A tutor’s job on Tutriva is to teach, explain, and coach.
